Greek Revival style = An architectural style based on the reuse of an- cient Greek forms. Sym- metrical in plan, this style was very popular in Amer- ica from 1820 to 1850.

groin = The ridge, edge, and or curved line formed by the intersection of the surfaces of two inter- secting vaults.
